Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been freed two days before being convicted in a gauntlet shooting case. And another Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has been convicted in a Rs 5 crore loan case.
Rajpal is not alone, his wife Radha Yadav has also been convicted. Rajpal-Radha couple took a loan of five crores in the name of their company to produce a movie called ‘Ata Pana Lapata’. They have been convicted in the case of not repaying the loan.
Delhi Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Arora has been convicted in the court. It is alleged that in order to complete the construction of the Aata pendency, five crore rupees were taken from Delhi-based businessman Rajiv Sharma for the name of Mr. Nawrang Godavari Entertainment Company.
According to the agreement on August 8, 2012, Rajpal agreed to pay 11 crores 10 lakh 60 thousand 350 including interest. Later, the matter was raised in the High Court after the two parties involved in the matter. There, Rajpal promised to pay 7 crore rupees.
However, after paying the money, seven checks issued by Rajpal were all rejected due to inadequate funds.
But Rajpal claimed that he did not borrow the money, but instead, he was invested.
