Sri Lanka Cricket’s anti-corruption department handed five Indian visitors to the police. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board has taken action against them for suspected behavior and match-fixing in the field. The incident happened in the third ODI between India and Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket yesterday.

But Sri Lankan girls have been exposed to such occasions outside the field. Five Indians were first removed from the field. Police later arrested them for the investigation.
An official from the Sri Lankan Cricket Board, who was reluctant to disclose the name, told AFP, “We felt that their behavior was suspicious on the field and they were talking very loudly on mobile. We have the right to take them out of the field and we used that. The police have understood the responsibility of the investigation.
Authorities believe, suspects are all involved with foreign bookies. The ban on playing in Sri Lanka is banned. Police said they are interrogating the suspects. Last month, two Indians were detained for suspicious behavior in the local T-20 competitions. Since then, the appearance of the Anti-Corruption Division has increased in Sri Lanka’s match venue.
