A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 82-year-old businessman in Miri town of Sarawak, Malaysia, Borneo. Miri district police chief ACP Ling Meung Sheh said that at around 6am, the renowned businessman himself came to the police station and surrendered.
He said, after knowing the police was searching, the businessman himself came to the police station.
Earlier on Monday, the mother of the victim submitted a complaint of rape to the police.
It is said in the complaint that after the disappearance of a local schoolgirl on September 10, she returned home on September 18. Police are investigating the allegations of rape by sending them to the medical center for check-up.
